Launched way back in October 2011 , aakash tablets have become quite popular in India. Targeted for Educational Purpose , the first version failed to impress indian masses , later on an improved version aakash 2 was launched in April 2012 with several improvements over first one. Aakash 2 runs on Android 4.0.3 O.S. and powered by Cortex A8 processor with 1 Ghz processor. This Post deals with Expected or Rumored Specifications in Aakash 3 Tablet.Datawind has came out with a device based upon government recommendations but the specifications will be finalized by the Government and Expected to be launched by the end of this month. The Product launched by Datawind is available as Ubislate 7c+. and priced for Rs 4990 but the product will be sold by Indian Govt. at Cheaper or low prices to University and School students.
Aakash 3 Specifications / Commercially Ubislate 7C+
1. Processor: Processor is expected to remain the same Cortex A8 with 1 Ghz clock rate.
2. RAM : Aakash 3 will carry RAM of 512 MB. I think there must have been improvement in either Processor or RAM. Atleast 1GB of RAM should have been given in Aakash 3.
3. Internal Memory will be increased to 4GB
4. G sensor
5. Another improvement is SIM functionality provided in Aakash 3 which can help in using GPRS on it.
Rest of the Specifications are similar to Aakash 2. The above specifications are not final. It is expected on the basis of the commercial version Ubislate 7c+ which is available for purchase for Rs 5199
